Clients

Awesome, you have a session booked! Now what? 

 

Now is the time to get ready for your shoot. If you have a certain place in mind please let me know. I can do a session anywhere (as long as it's legal!) Ideal locations are ones that give us plenty of diversity with a pretty back drop. Or it may be a place that has a special meaning to you. Where ever it is, please be sure to let me know! 

 

 

Getting Ready for you Shoot 

 I actually love it when my clients bring their own ideas. So be sure you are looking online for themes, ideas, poses and pictures that you feel show your personality and refect the mood you are trying to capture. 

 

I will come with my own ideas but I love being able to capture YOUR ideas as well! 

 

I will be in contact with you through out the planning stages to make sure that we have an amazing session that is focused on you! 

 

Another thing to be doing in this time is deciding what to wear. Your outfit truly does make a difference! I enjoy it when my clients come to me with multiple outfits, but if a truck full of clothes isn't your style, a long sleeve dark top and nice jeans is always a great option. Also, be sure to bring accessories! 

 

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask. I am here to help you from beginning to end of the entire photo session process! 

The Day of the Session 

The big day is here! The location is set, your outfit is picked out, so what should you expect during your session? 

 

I try to keep my session's fun so please be prepared to laugh and be yourself. I know it can be strange having a complete stranger pointing a camera at you and asking you to smile, but please don't freeze up. I try to help you relax, so if you don't mind my cheesy jokes it will be alright! 

 

A typical session lasts anywhere between 35 to 60 minutes. 

 

Plan on me being a bit crazy. My creative process is a bit out there, but I promise it is worth it! 

 

 

After your Session 

Your big day is over. Now what? 

 

Your job is over! Go relax! 

 

During this part of the session I am busy working on your edits. I typically will have a preview* posted on my facebook fan page (www.facebook.com/heatherlutherphotography) within 24-72 hours after you session, so be sure you are a fan and tag yourself in the pictures! It's this part of social networking that get's my name out there. 

 

I will have your edits done within 2 weeks. Once they are done, you will get a message with a link and a password so that you can access the entire album and show your friends! I will also be contacting you to a time to meet up or your address to give you a copy of your images on a USB flash drive. On this drive will also be a Copy Right release in case you need it. Now you get to print your images. 

 

If you have any problems or questions please don't hesitate to contact me and I will do anything in my power to help. I won't give out unedited images, but I will try my best to make any editing changes you need done. 

 

If you want any other product (ie Facebook timeline cover, card designs or special edits like name and date) please let me know and I can give you a quote on extra products. 

 

I can also upload the pictures to a professional printing site where you can order images and products al carte. 

 

I really do enjoy helping my clients and will give out discounts if you return and/or refer friends! So if you are happy with your final images, please tell a friend!

Booking a Session 

Yay! I am so excited you are here! 

 

The very start of the photo session journey is boring, however it is also very important and I am so glad you are choosing me to capture you big day, your special moment in time, or your beautiful family. I really do look foreword to working with you! 

 

The first thing I am going to need from you, the client, is some basic information such as the date and time you'd like your session to be, your phone number and your email address. 

 

Due to some challenges in the past, I am now requiring a non-refundable deposit that will be subtracted from the final price to hold you session date for you; this fee is good even if you have to reschedule. However, if you have to reshedule a third time I will need the entire session fee up front. A fourth reschedule will require an additional deposit. So please, know your schedule when booking your session!  Within 24 hours of booking your session I will email you a invoice for your deposit, please get it back to me as soon as possible! 

 

Also, if you need to reschedule, please give me 48 hour notice. I will contact you 24 hours before your session and if I don't hear back from you the session will be considered a cancelation. So please, make sure you stay in touch with me!
